Mainline Health Systems Inc. (MHSI) has been awarded a Maternal Health grant for a grand total of $2,000,000.00. The grant will be used to create accessible maternal health care services that include in-home visit teams (Maternal Infant Health Program), telehealth access to maternal fetal medicine, and specialty care for at-risk pregnancies.
It will allow MHSI to expand into more areas throughout Southeast Arkansas that lack maternal health resources. Our goal is to reduce maternal health disparities in the rural areas that we serve. We will focus on prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. MHSI will be with the patient every step of the way, as they embark on their journey to motherhood.
The greatest access barrier is the lack of maternal health care services in Southeast Arkansas. There is a lack of clinical services, effective care models, and continuity of care. MHSI intends to fill these gaps by offering support and linguistically and culturally appropriate care coordination, intervention services during pregnancy and infancy, and overall improving health outcomes for mother and infant.
In 2022, MHSI updated the Mainline Health Monticello Clinic and added The Women’s Clinic to offer OB/GYN services. We currently have two full-time OB/GYN physicians, two specialized women’s health nurse practitioners, and a whole team dedicated to women’s health. We just opened four new satellite locations, and plan to expand more in the future. MHSI is proud to serve our communities and give women and infants access to the care they deserve and need.

Women's Health Expansion
We are excited to announce our expansion for Women's Health Services! To better serve our communities, in addition to our Monticello Mainline Health Women's Clinic location, we are now offering Women's Health services in Star City, Warren, and McGehee.
For our Warren location, we will begin seeing patients every Tuesday, starting June 6th at our Mainline Health Warren Clinic.
For our Star City location, we will begin seeing patients every Wednesday, starting June 7th at our Mainline Health Star City Medical Clinic.
For our McGehee location, we will begin seeing patients every Thursday, starting June 15th at McGehee Hospital Specialty Clinic, located at 206 South First Street.
