Mainline Health Systems Inc. (MHSI), partnered with The Association of Diabetes Care & Education, has been awarded a grant from The Centers of Disease Control (CDC). MHSI will use the grant funds for additional diabetic educational supplies to support and establish our new diabetes program.
It will also allow MHSI to receive technical assistance to improve efficiency in all aspects of diabetes educational services that MHSI offers.
The current MHSI Diabetes Education Program offers a range of educational services from diet and nutrition counseling, exercise plans, meal training, and more. The additional funds will be used to add even more educational resources to supply our patients with tools they need to manage their diabetes, as this is a stepping stone for a healthier future. To be able to help guide patients in the right direction towards a healthier future is an honor. MHSI is pleased to offer such a wide range of services for a disease that affects such a large population in Southeast Arkansas, and the communities we serve.
