Andrea Dixon, LAC holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Early in her career, she worked as a Family Support Specialist, where she discovered a strong passion for helping children and families navigate life’s challenges. This calling led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.
Andrea has been a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling since 2023. Her clinical focus has primarily been with children and adolescents, where she utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to support emotional growth, build coping skills, and foster resilience.
She is passionate about both her family and the meaningful work she does in the lives of those she serves. Andrea is proud to be a part of MHSI’s Behavioral Health team and currently serves as a Behavioral Health Consultant at the Lakeside School-Based Clinic.
