Introducing Dr. John Mitchell
We are excited to introduce Dr. John Mitchell, who joins MHSI as a new pirmary cary provider in our Sheridan Medical Clinic. Dr. Mitchell, a native of East End and graduate from Sheridan High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello, will bring his expertise and dedication to patient-focused care for the Sheridan community. With a commitment to comprehensive and continuous healthcare, he will be a valuable addition to our team and his dedication will help ensure that our patients receive top-notch care at every stage of life.
Meet Andrea Dixon, LAC
We extend a warm welcome to Andrea Dixon, Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), who will serve as a Behavioral Health Consultant at our Lakeside School-Based Clinic. Andrea is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello and holds a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
With a special clinical focus on children and adolescents, Andrea has a strong passion for helping young people and their families navigate life's challenges. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support emotional growth, build coping skills, and foster resilience in her young patients.
She is already an invaluable member of the Behavioral Health team and a dedicated advocate for the wellbeing of those she serves.
