Mainline Health Systems, Inc. (MHSI), a leading provider of comprehensive primary care and behavioral health services in Southeast Arkansas, announced it is expanding its network with a new clinic in Magnolia, Arkansas.
Starting November 1, 2025, MHSI will take over the family medical center previously operated by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) at 1617 North Washington Street in Magnolia.
This expansion represents MHSI’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare services to communities throughout the region. The new Magnolia clinic will offer residents access to a range of medical services, helping to ensure continuity of care for both existing and new patients.
"We are honored to continue the legacy of excellent care provided by UAMS in Magnolia and to become a trusted part of this community," said Allan Nichols, CEO. "We look forward to introducing our comprehensive approach to healthcare, which includes primary care, behavioral health, and other services that support the overall well-being of our patients and the Magnolia community."
“We chose to work with Mainline Health because they have the experience and capacity to offer a broad range of vital services to our patients in Magnolia,” said Shashank Kraleti, MD, FAAFP, director of the UAMS Health Primary Care and Population Health Service Line. “This collaboration ensures that residents of Magnolia and Columbia County can access comprehensive care close to home, reflecting our shared commitment to enhancing health and well-being throughout Arkansas.”
The new clinic will be located at the former UAMS Family Medical Center facility, allowing for a seamless transition of patient services.
