Dr. Skylar Garner is a 2009 graduate of Monticello High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ouachita Baptist University before continuing her dental education at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

In July 2017, Dr. Garner returned to Monticello and joined Mainline Health Systems as a dentist at the Star City clinic. In addition to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care, she is proud to serve as a Preceptor for the Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine. In this role, Dr. Garner mentors and guides dental students as they transition into clinical practice, emphasizing confidence, clinical excellence, and a strong patient-centered approach.

Dr. Garner pursued a career in dentistry because of her love for helping people and the positive experiences she had with her own dentist growing up. She values working at Mainline Health Systems for its supportive team and shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and the community.
